Hendra Barns is tucked away in a quiet valley, accessed by some roads you could only describe as Cornish, narrow in width with high hedges, which at this time of year are in full bloom with bluebells and campions.
We furnish our guests with maps to guide them to us, the short distance that remains after leaving the main arterial route, the A30. Though we don’t find any problems with navigation, now there’s even more help at hand, with beautiful new signposting.
Ken’s assistant Nick has carved these traditional signs from oak and is filling the serif lettering with black paint before sanding them smartly.
